I’ve loved Christian Bale since Empire of the Sun and of course Newsies and Velvet Goldmines, and that one about the train with Emily what’s her face, but yeah, he doesn’t really excell in the “actually knowing how to act” department. Patrick Bates was probably his best acting job, well that and “THAT’S ME DAD! THAT’S ME!”

Shut up, it still gets me!

Suddenly Susan was Brooke Shields sitcom, where she worked on a magazine with Judd Nelson, Cathy Griffin, Nestor Carbonell and some guy who died. It was truly shite. But still betetr than Veronica’s Closet.

I’m not interested in Tudors at the present time in any other context than Henry Cavill being butt-naked.

I blame Christian Bale for any and all of Rachel’s failings. Guy has no chemistry with anything.

Trucks - I’m thinking if I watch Superbad now I hate it. Stupid Jonah Hill - stop being so overexposed.

Sticks - If you add Jenna Fischer going “IT’S A MIRACLE!” at the end then yeah, those are the only parts where I laughed too…

I’d hate Semipro though. WILL FERREL SEETHING HATE

I had the exact same thought as you about this movie, only a bit worse. The parts you mentioned (along with “You’re almost as good as the Monkees!” (which, HA!)) were the only parts where I actaully laughed outloud.

It was just too much randomness and not enough parody. I don’t even want to think about watching Forgetting Sarah Marshall.

Oddly though, I FLOVED Semipro.
